Dr. Ummi Azizah Rachmawati

Ummi Azizah Rachmawati holds a B.Sc. from Informatics Engineering, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology and holds a M.Sc. from Magister of Information Technology, University of Indonesia. Holds a doctoral degree from the Department of Computer Science, University of Indonesi. She got a Sandwich Program Scholarship during her postgraduate at Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ITEE) University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia.

She is a Dean of Faculty of Information Technology, YARSI University, Jakarta, Indonesia. Her main research interests are Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, e-Health, and High Performance Computing. She has won some research grants from National and International Funding. She is a Steering Committee of The Pacific Rim Application and Grid Middleware Assembly (PRAGMA) and active in Women in IEEE (WIE) Indonesia.



Dr. Srikanta Pal
Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra


Srikanta Pal, a national scholar in both class X and XII, received the B. Tech. with (first class) in ECE, REC Warangal (1990), M.E. (Univ. Gold Medalist) in Microwave Engineering, Jadavpur University (1992), and D.Phil., Oxford University, UK within two years’ time, 2003. Oxford rewarded him twice with Merit award (2001, 2002). His seminal transformative research is well read and applied which earned him the title of renowned world’s scientist, titled as – “Telescope Trouble-shooter” and “Antenna Scientist”. Apart from his research he is also a popular teacher in the field of applied electromagnetics.

Prof. Pal worked both in research organizations and in academia. He served as an R&D engineer with BEL, Govt PSU, 1992- 2000; as Visiting Faculty (2003-05) at IIT Delhi, as Assistant Professor at IIT Roorkee (2005- 06); he has been in BIT Mesra since 2008, served as Head, ECE (2017- 20), and continuing there till date.

Pal is recipient of several prestigious international research fellowships like Honorary Research Fellowship three times from Univ. of Birmingham, UK, EPSRC fellowships twice (Oxford, Birmingham), awards, honours, felicitations, from several government/ minister portfolios, social and educational organizations. Appointed as the R&D consultant for BEL, PSU, GOI and CEL, PSU, GOI. He is a fellow of several professional societies and a recipient of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Teacher’s Excellence Award, 2021 - AICTE, a distinguished and popular expert in NBA, Felicitated with “Jharkhand Seva Ratna” award 2023, “Bharat Seva Ratna“ Award 2023, “Jharkhand Gaurav Samman” Award 2024 by His excellency, Governor of Jharkhand, and “Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya Lifetime Achievement Award” 2024 by IE(I)-JSC. Scientist Pal’s research is aired by Voice of America 2023 and is emplaced in Raj Bhavan, Ranchi.

His unconventional journey of pursuing knowledge is understandable from an excerpt in “A Beautiful Mind”, the abridged biography by his nonagenarian national teacher father: “Srikanta has been keenly inquisitive since childhood. Deep perception, self reliance, iron-determination, and untiring effort have enabled him ever to penetrate the crux of critical research/academic problems in no time. Srikanta has outstanding academic background in general and exceptionally good in physics and mathematics. Tranquil mindset is his in-born gift. His cool, cordial and smiling interactions are endearing to all and sundry.”



Dr. Lean Karlo Santos Tolentino
Technological University of the Philippines, Manila


Dr. Lean Karlo S. Tolentino is the Dean of the College of Engineering at the Technological University of the Philippines and an Associate Professor in Electronics Engineering. A licensed Professional Electronics Engineer and ASEAN Engineer, he holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan, with research focused on wearable AI and computing-in-memory technologies. He also earned his Master’s in Microelectronics from Mapúa University and graduated cum laude in his undergraduate studies at TUP Manila.

Dr. Tolentino is a prolific researcher with over 50 journal publications and numerous Scopus and Web of Science-indexed conference papers, boasting h-indices of 12 (Scopus) and 15 (Google Scholar). He holds several international patents and has led multiple DOST-funded projects in microelectronics, IC design, renewable energy systems, and IoT applications. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a regular member of the National Research Council of the Philippines, and an active contributor to engineering education, standardization committees, and community-based technology transfer programs.



Dr. Parameshachari B.D

Dr. Parameshachari B.D. currently working as a Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics and communication Engineering at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India also he is also working as Associate Dean (R&D) at NMIT . He is also the Visiting Professor for University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy. He is currently serving as the Vice Chair (MDC), IEEE Bangalore Section. He is also listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientist by Stanford University, USA for his research works. He is recognized as Research Guide at VTU, Belagavi, awarded Four PhD and currently, Five Research Scholars were pursuing Ph.D. Degree under his supervision.

He has published over 150+ articles in SCI, SCOPUS and other indexed journals and also in several international conferences. He is the Associate Editor for Expert Systems (Wiley), International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems (Springer) and International Journal of Reconfigurable and Embedded Systems (IJRES). He is also serving as Editorial Board Member, Academic Editor and reviewer for several international journals indexed in SCI and SCOPUS. He is the recipient of IEEE Bangalore Section Outstanding Volunteer Award, IEEE Bangalore Section Outstanding Branch Counsellor Award, Outstanding Service Excellence award from IEEE ITS Bangalore Chapter, IEEE Bangalore Section Chair's Recognition from IEEE Bangalore Section and Outstanding Reviewer-Elsevier Signal Processing. He has served in various expert committees for VTU, Belagavi. He has also served as the Lead Guest Editor for Springer, Elsevier and IEEE Journals. Under his guidance, IEEE NMIT Student Branch has received 50000 USD funding from IEEE AESS Society.



Dr. Abdulbasit A. Darem
Associate Professor of Cybersecurity and AI at the Center for Scientific Research and Entrepreneurship, Northern Border University (NBU) in Saudi Arabia


Dr. Abdulbasit A. Darem is a prominent researcher with extensive contributions to the fields of cybersecurity. Holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Mysore University, India, Dr. Darem has led numerous research initiatives, including serving as the Principal Investigator (PI) for multiple funded projects (around 32 research projects with over US$765k), such as those addressing AI, cybersecurity threats, ransomware detection, and privacy in social networks. He has published over 70 articles in international refereed journals with high impact factors and presented several conference papers, tackling critical issues using AI (machine learning and Deep learning).

He also got one patent from Japan and three are under consideration. As the Chair of the Cybersecurity Research Group (RG-NBU-2022-1724) and RDO-1385 project, Dr. Darem actively conducts innovative research and collaborates with international teams to address emerging challenges in cybersecurity. His work has earned him recognition and multiple awards for academic excellence like the Excellence Award in Scientific Research 2024 in Northern Border University, highlighting his dedication to advancing cybersecurity knowledge and solutions through impactful research.



Mr. Soenil Soebedar

Soenil Soebedar is a solution-oriented IT & cybersecurity professional who spent more than 32 years in the IT sector, 22 years as a freelancer & founder of SOEBIT Cybersecurity in the Netherlands (Europe) and 12 years in the Cyber Security area as an Ethical Hacker, Penetration tester, PKI/Cryptography specialist/Architect, Senior Security Engineer, Senior SOC Specialist. He lives and studies in the Netherlands, born in Suriname (South America).

He has experience in a number of industries such as Finance and Banking, Energy, Government, Healthcare, Education and Consulting and a lot of international experience working in teams and individually.Extensive experience and his ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner make him a valuable addition to any conference on cybersecurity, AI, Cryptography and Quantum computing.He has delivered (virtual) workshops, cybersecurity training, Internship programs seminar and webinars for IT professionals, colleges & universities in the Netherlands, USA, Suriname, India, Ghana, Singapore & Malaysia.



Dr. Loo Xi Sung
Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU)


Dr. Loo is currently a Lecturer at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU). He hold B.E. (1st Class Hons.) and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2007 and 2012, respectively.

Dr. Loo’s research centers on RF/Analog IC design and CMOS device characterization. He held postdoctoral position in MIT and was a collaborator with A*Star Research Institute in neuromorphic computing program. Dr. Loo has been a Senior Member of IEEE since 2017 and had authored/co-authored over more than 26 publications.
